Formerly known as "the Pentecostal Poppa," this rapper was featured on Hezekiah Walker's single, "Let's Dance" and Mary Mary's "I Sing". Back in 1998, when his independently released single the "Pentecostal Poppa" started gaining him notice; many compared his style to the late secular hip-hop artist, Biggie Smalls. With his debut CD, he hopes to change the face of rap with the message of the gospel. He was signed to two independent labels, before catching the attention of music mogul Andre Harrell who introduce him to Jive Records
