Artist's Profiles: Adrian Smith

Adrian Smith is a man of God who has vision of reaching the world through ministry in song and music. This gift isa God-given gift anointed for God's service. At a very young age, Adrian accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Since then, he's been preaching a song like no one else. A prodigy of The Church of God in Christ, Adrian started his ministry singing with his local church choir. At the age of 24, he received the call into the ministry preaching and teaching God's Word. With his ministry of singing already in full flight, it brought about a greater anointing. In 1994 the Lord called Adrian into a full-time ministry of music, and he is confident his gift will make room for him. Following the leading of the Lord, Adrian moved to Detroit, Michigan where he joined the group Radical for Christ founded by Fred Hammond. In a very short time Adrian became lead vocalist for Fred Hammond and Radical for and Radical for Christ. That exposure has expanded his musical ability and style to include inspirational, urban, praise and worship, and adult contemporary which enables him to minister to many ages. Adrian's ministry vision is simple, to be an effective and efficient witness for Jesus Christ by using the gift that God has given him, to win lost souls for Christ and to edify the body of Christ through music and song.
